Sending, and what-not.

Still having an amazing time here. Alli Rainey’s house is full of some great folks, we cook, drink and share stories of the climbing day at night. Wake up nice and late and leave to go climbing around 1pm. My sort of pace. Here are some photos to enjoy. I got my new camera back and am very pleased. As well I am copping some amazing footage with this rig. I swear… SLR Vids are THE new jam…. All the lens styles and focal points change the visual stimulation entirely. Stand by….

Alli sent her project at the FCR the other day… a vert 14a rig that starts on Sky Pilot 13d and ends on a James Litz route…. Well done Alli!!!! And big up to Lawrence for taking down his route Super Mama… thing sounds HEINOUS MAN!!!! Well done yall…

What new camera do you have? How are the lace-ups?

Hey Joe!

Thanks for your awesome blog and all those make-me-want-to-leave-the-desk-and-hit-the-road pictures. Looks like you’re using the new Katana Laces – any opinions about them and styles of climbing you’d favour them for? (Only edging or do you think they should be just fine for roofs and stuff as well?)

Bye and greetings from Germany,
Chris

Chris… the Katana Lace is SICK!!! I would use it only in a vertical and edgy terrain. Steep for me needs something more hook shaped. The shoe is more downturned than the original Katana and has the P3 Last…. WAY better. For a place like Tensleep or Gorges Du Tarn they RULE!!!!

I got the Canon T2i… a good start to the DLSR video world and SLR camera in general. The Katana Laceups are SIIIICK!!!! I didn’t like them at first but made myself give them a chance… for terrain like here on vert they are AMAZING!!! I approve 100%. Stand by for a commercial I am filming…

We’re working in the north end of the bighorns for the summer, so we go to tensleep often. Glad to hear the grades work for someone I’ve been getting my ass handed to me. If you think alli’s house is dope you ought to check out the McDomalds in worland! The only place we can find for wifi at night.

Have you bouldered in Cody? It’s probably too hot but really good stuff.
