I am very pleased man, VERY…I am happy with making the first ascent of a new route in the Hurricave. I am calling this route “Visitor Q”. This is a route bolted by Todd Perkins, cleaned and prepped by myself and sussed by the both of us. LOTS or respect to Todd. This route is a great style on Steeeeep climbing, power-endurance, and stamina in 80 feet. It reminds me a lot of routes at Santa Linya in Spain….Much love.

CHECK out the movie....but understand...it's graphic.

Keith Ladzinski photo...Last year.
When I first tried this line last year I thought for sure it was 8c+. It felt hard as HELL….it felt like it would take LOTS of work…But after 6 tries this year….I climbed it!!!! My tries were getting higher and further up the route…clipping became a total disadvantage in the crux, SOOOOOO….During the send I skipped two bolts in a Row…SHARMAAAA!!!!!!…..and dynoed like Kobe…with the rope flying all around my legs and behind my feet, …YEAH!!! ILL!!!!! BUT, things happened to work out in my favor, I didn’t fall…

As for the grade I am not sure as of yet….Stand by….
