We rolled out to Ibex yesterday morning. Felt strange getting up before 10 am. I was actually awake at 8:30 antsy and psyched for climbing. We met, rode in Tim’s Baller SRT 8 and BOMBED out there. For me it was great…I couldn’t help but notice I was with my favorite human beings….Colette, Dave, and Tim….Whut love.

Dave sent Wang Chung in an hour. This thing was featured in one of MC’s videos. Ben moon trying it as a project….then James Litz put it DOWN a few years ago. Dave’s bouldering game is always on point…but right now…Hommie is puttin’ it DOWN….no lie. I think he sent 2nd try from the start after working out some moves. Sucky crimps and lame pinches makes up the path for this V13. MAD props Dave.

We filmed the problem with ease and I will put together a tight-real video with the quickness for MVM

Colette’s Birthday…She was just psyched to be outside in a beautiful place climbing on rock. She got close on Ju and could really have sent…next time. Happy Birthday Ma!!!!

Tim…Good tour guide and fast driver…hommie clocked 140 mph on the way out…that was surely THE fastest I have ever gone in a car…GOOD CHRIST!!!! He put down Bruce Lee like it was funny…sup MAYNE!!!!

Me…I bouldered and got bored of it….Tim suggest he put a top-rope up on one of his cracks he climbed a few years ago. They were both on MC’s video as well. So…he did, I climbed it second go and LOVED it….Crack climbing is pretty arduous. NOT at all like regular climbing…you gotta tear clothes and wreck your hands to ascend…13a? That made my day F’SHO….I forgot how much fun top-roping can be. OHMYGOD!!
