The Bee Story

We were in France about 3 years ago.  St. Leger to be exact.  And in this particular climbing destination there is NO campgrounds or anything other than van camping.  Like other climbers we poached.  This is standard practice for climbers… some call it “bivy”, “poach”, “jack”, “squat”, etc.  We had a great spot until……

    So funny, brought back many memories of poaching spots in the Frankenjura one even involving bees. Didn’t get stung but ran like hell. This is what makes traveling to climb such a great experience. Keep bringing the hilarity

    Bee’s?!, all the clothes were funny, we got attacked by the Oriental Hornets in kalymnos last october, holy shit that HURTS!! watch out for those little blighters! (BIG, brown and wi yellow stripes on their asses) the feckers!!
