New Camera….

I have said before that there is always that notion to have to buy something cool once in a while…my last little treat was a boomin Sub and amp for my car. This time around I dropped some cheese on a nice new Sony HDR CX100!!! Hommie Tim Kemple helped me do the shopping and research for the PROPER tool for my necessities. I am now a PROUD owner.

Yesterday we had another day at the Virgin Cave. There is a project there that is really nice and challenges the hell outta me…Isaac Caldiero was suggesting V12 or 13…beats me…but I sincerely approve.

Jorge, Seth and I have been sessioning in the evening. It is HOT here now…like…NOT cool hot and it’s getting a little rough. Evenings cool off to the point of almost good temps, but its dry and the fact that there is no humidity goes a long way.

The cave is nice…it sort of reminds me of Santa Linya in Spain. A great athletic style on edges and odd holds.

It’s simply nice to take it easy right now after working so hard on a project. I am honestly psyched on doing some bouldering…here is a getto little vid I quickly put together…I assume this lil boulder is around V8 or so…it’s great. (Mom… I took out the cus words…)

PLEEEASE let there be some climbing in the mix…ugh. I am honored and very proud to have such a great part in these packs coming to life…be on the lookout soon.

The next week I return I am off to NYC to celebrate the new Eastern Mountain Sports Store Opening in SOHO!!!!!! This new store looks absolutely amazing….HUGE, FILLED with toys and in a GREAT location…check out the video…it opens in TWO MORE DAYS!!!!!

Henry…YES…that vid was a the first little outing with the Sony CX100. I shoots GREAT, super simple and the quality is top notch… The only thing I have to stress is the importing capabilities. You have to have FCP 6.0.5….or Vegas…anything else and you will not be able to import. I suggest you educate on AVCHD vids…good luck.

I have climbed at a lot of the LIMESTONE! areas in the fall and into the winter but not in the spring. Any beta would be way cool thanks man and keep it real.

Joe you can make those Vimeo videos bigger just change the html code to be something just smaller than 720p. So something like 698×400. tk
