… in case you haven’t seen em yet.
The first is another Sterling Rope banger that Colette and I shot with Muriel Sarkany of Belgium. Muriel comes from the European competition scene for years and has redirected her interest towrad rock climbing and projecting hard routes. This is something I love about her. She is totally immersed in the challenge of a hard route and becomes obsessed. I am the SAME! Rollito Sharma was her project for multiple seasons and a few trips to Catalunya. I remember seeing her go for it a couple of years ago and getting close but no avail. The talk around the climbing scene there was always the question “does anyone know if Muriel sent?”. It was great to see so many other people involved in her project as well that when I heard she sent we HAD to shoot it.
She was awesome to shoot with and even more impressive to watch climb. Her facial expressions tell you how hard the moves are for her. Being a tiny girl she had to use completely different beta and I can say for sure (having climbed the route) that her methods are gnarly! Good on ya Muriel… I hope you like your video and lets do it again sometime!
The second is the trailer to Bad Girls Club – The Story. This will be live on Deadpoint Mag next week and if you have the subscription to The Stash I think you will like it. The responses I have gotten thus far has been positive and even great. I am always excited to share the story of something relevant to me and BGC was just that. Rifle being such a popular place has gotten even more popular with the new development… and throw in a new hard route and you got flies on sh*t! (so to speak). It’s nuts… we need more folks bolting and need it bad! Enjoy the trailer!
