Still going….

We missed our flight today….it was a first time for me man!…I don’t even wanna get into the details of how it happened and how we fixed it and where it left us.  I will say this…The only thing I wanted more this morning was to leave Morocco…I know that might sound harsh and brash…but sincerely…ALL I wanted to do today was to get the HELL out of Morocco.  Remember what I said?…About how travel gives you a way to compare lifestyles?  Well YO….I know this.  Morocco is a third world country.  ITS GHETTO, its dirty, its insanely hard to get a complicated situations corrected, it’s a place people can and WILL screw you, you get sick and you get sick BAD man!!!!  I know now…I am not making any plans to go back anytime soon in my life.  Don’t get me wrong folks….I am glad I went, I am SUPER thankful for the entire experience…..I say that with total sincereity.  I am just glad its over and we are out….I sit in the Monte Carlo Hostel in Madrid Spain…Madrid is BADASS for those who don’t know.   (Its one million times better than Morocco)

I am writing this with a piece of mind knowing that I will not get sick from eating, I can lay on this bed and not be worried about being shanked over the bad Rug deal, and I am not worried about the stench of the town and sight of another poor-wretched-donkey rallying around another load.  Its over and we are on to the next RAD adventure…Southern UTAH YEEEUUUUHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

First we meet up with Tim and crew…grab all the product and hop on  another flight to Zurich, sleep there and then back to the SLC…wheeewwww!!!!  WOW…..then get our stuff out of storage, Sleep and head to southern Utah…where I have 3 days to climb until another “Spray” premier in Boston…WOW!!!!  Right!!!?????  It kind of mellows out after that…I have basically 4 weeks with no commitments except for the Red Rocks Rendezvous, and that’s mellow.  Life it good man!!!!  Damn good….I’m REALLY eager to get my climbing game back on….FIRST priority….Im out!!

Angie - First: awesome photos. You have a way with lighting and color. :)

Second: I totally hear ya on the third world country bit.

Your honesty and candid manner is refreshing Joe!

Enjoy southern Utah…
